A LETTER TO PRESIDENT TURAI YAR DUA

Hello there and how has it been overseeing the affairs of this country? Lucrative i guess1 And this is wishing you more success in your failure guaranteed 7 point agenda. I know that you must now think i have addressed the letter wrongly as you are not the legal President but i am not wrong. Even my three year old sister knows that you are the real President while your sickly husband is the FIRST MAN who was elected by citizens of this country but is now your muppet puppet as you direct him as a captain would direct a rudderless ship. We have heard tales of how you have become a thin god in Aso Rock. Nothing can be done without your approval and anyone who wants to seek your audience must part with a princely sum of 30,000 Pounds ( consultation fee ). It is public knowledge that your Husband's health is very poor and that when he saw out his tenure as Governor of Katsina state, he wanted to return to the village and start life as a Fulani herdsman and drive his cows about as he was tired and had failed of leading people but you, the power Hungry woman would have non of that. You wanted to be heard and seen, feared and dreaded, respected and adored and in conjunction with Obasanjo, you led him, as an Ileya ram would be led, to his doom. Madam, it has now been more than 50 days since your Husband, ( The First man) has left the country to have his health attended to in Saudi Arabia, since the Hospitals here are death centres. The day both of you were headed for Saudi would be evergreen in my mind, i cant forget the look on Yar'dua's face; the look of someone not sure if he was going to return back alive while you were shining your kola stained teeth at a bunch a stooges and sycophants who were there to see you off. While some people say your husband has brain damage, others say he has CHRAUG STRAUSS while some say he has kidney problems because he used to drink like a brewery and smoke like a lokomotive train and he now depends on a Life-support machine as his life goes around like ping pong... not sure if to go or not. In the meantime, and in your Husband's shuttle between life and death, yourself and a few formed a dangerous cabal with the nation in your grip, you decide what is to be done, how it should be done and where it should be done while you mislead 200 million people on the true state of your Husband's health. One of you even forged his signature on the appropriation bill and sent it to the National assembly. You have really shown signs of exemplary leadership as under oyu, there has been increased fuel crisis, and Nigeria has been listed as a terrorist country. You, ma would not allow the Vice President to act as the Constitution stipulates as you are scared it would put paid to your acts of chop chop. But madam, i want you to remember that you should take care of your Husdand's health, advice him to resign so he would still continue to act as a father to Fatima and your other daughters whom you have traded off to the high and mighty in the society. By the way, i love one of your daughters but bad news?i am neither a Governor nor a Dangote but i have a very bright future as i am studying Law in one of your Government's neglected Universities. Hope your greed would allow me marry her as we love each other dearly? Remember, madam, that nothing good lasts forever, you might reign now but things might change like the weather. I heared you have a store full of diamonds and gold, hmmm, those are lovely things but remember that the day death stares you in the face, all your Pounds, gold, diamonds, Governors-Sons-In-Laws, riches would be useless to you as you shall not take anything away. Perhaps, you should learn from the death of Maryam Babangida who despite her enormous wealth and husband's influence, she died and was tied naked to a mat.. to meet her creator. N.B ; Please ma, dont take this personal against me, i am just speaking the mind of millions of Nigerians. Remember that there was Nigeria before the Yar'duas and there would still be Nigeria after them. No group, family or woman is more powerful and more important than the whole country. My regards.

A CRAZY WORLD

I never actually planned writing on this at all this week as i had planned to give SANUSI LAMIDO the bashing of his life for showboating, playing to the gallery and engaging in a macabre dance but just as i was 'BALANCING' to start writing, something caught my fancy. Perhaps, i would put his case in the cooler for now.

Back to that thing that i said caught my fancy. A man had died somewhere and some people were seated discussing the possible causes of his death. While some attributed it to his death to some long suffered ailment, others were just too sure that he was a victim of AFRICAN REMOTE CONTROL. You don't understand? It was insinuated that his mother's husband's aunty in the village was unhappy and disillutioned with his unprecedented success and had killed him via AFRICAN REMOTE CONTROL and i smiled to myself. Not out of amusement however but out of dumbfoundedness at the raw and blatant ignorance displayed by this guys.

Imagine this scenario; A man is married with three adolsecent children. His wife is a professional housewife as she has no job. Unfortunately, himself and his wife are Igbo and so, he has to cater for his own xtended family and that of his wife. He lives in Ikeja and works in a bank of the Island as a Cashier. To ensure the comfort of his family, he rents a three bedroom flat which goes for like 650,000 Naira yearly which unfortunately, he is obliged by the landlord to pay in advance of like 2 years. His children also have to go to school and an average Secondary school in Lagos goes for like 70,000 Naira per term. Since he works on the Island and lives on the mainland, he must not be late for work since he works in a bank. He then buys a car which he must ensure is always in good condition because should his car break down on a Lagos road, his car would either be towed away by LASTMA or he has to pay a fine of 25,000 Naira to bail his car.He gats to work and still no rest. On getting back home, he has to eat ell and eating well is very expensive these days because of the sky rocketed prices of food stuff. It is a well known fact that poor men can't even afford the poor man's food which is garri as a Congo s Garri goes for like 170. So, what should the poor start eating, Ordinary leaves like goats??

I have even forgotten that this man earns a meagre 120,000 per month in the face of all these shuddering responsibilities and he must not steal, or so his pastor told him in church. One day, this man just drops dead and people would start attributing his death to one enemy while oblivious of the fact that he died of hypertension due to tension and frustration.

So many contradictions abound in this world that thinking of them might make one go bananas. Have you ever stopped t wonder why the good die young and the bad grow so old that one is forced to attend night vigils to ask God to kill them. Or why Lucky Igbenedion who stole 30Billion Naira was slapped on the wrist by fining him a meagre 3MILLION naira and asked him to go and enjoy the remaining 29 BILLION 997MILLION NAIRA and undiscovered loots in peac while a Yahoo yahoo boy who obtains just 2000 dollars from a white maga is sentenced to 30 donkey years in prison. SO please tell me why a man who stole 30 BIllion naira should get less than someone that stole just 500 000 Naira.

OR why do Aristo girls who have used themselves silly in the University get good husbands while those really good ones who have shut 'that place' for their future husbands only to find dificulties getting one.

Or the worst of all, someone kills another man. That man is gone forever while the killer would then remember that JESES CHRIST would forgive his sins. He gives his life to christ and christ welcomes him with open arms while the person he killed is left to rot in hell. Please, is that fair judgement. God would tell you not to fight for yourselves while he would watch while others make you suffer. Once again, what do we make of that?

We have been told that God knows why we are in the world and that he has planned out how everyone would play his part. So, should we then go to hell when God knows and has planned that wa are coming to this world to sin???

I can go on and on and that can only lead me to a state of Mental jingoism, deliriousity and gagaism because the world is as crazy just as the inhabitants and some questions can never ever be answered because they are what they are QUESTIONS.

Please, join me in bashing Lamido Sanusi next week.

I rest my case. Do have a swell week ahead.

BETWEEN SAINTOCRACY AND HYPOCRISY

I was perusing through the Holy Bible yesterday night ( i am a Moslem though ) and one of Jesus Christ's teaching got me rooted as it caught my fancy. He was talking about the Saduccees and Pharacees and their Hypocritical nature. These people, Jesus said would when they fast 'squeeze their faces' (Bone) , and start behaving irritational so that people around can know that they are fasting. Jesus continued by saying that these people where out and out pretenders who would preach to their people about one thing and do something in direct contravention to what they just preached about. He summarised his teaching there by talking about church goers. He thus ended with this phrase 'AT LAST, THE WHEAT SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE CHAFF WHILE THE GOAT SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE SHEEP' I strongly hold the belief that JESUS had Nigeria in mind when he was making these teachings because the above illustration aptly describes the Nigerian situation because Nigerians are out and out hypocrites who pretend to be what they are not. The average Nigerian is very religious , even to a fault yet morally corrupt, acts wickedly yet demands to be treated fairly, intellectually gifted yet uses his intellect in defrauding others, sentimental in passing judgement but yet demands fair trial and fair hearing where it concerns him directly. When a Nigerian tells you good morning, it is better for you to go outside to confirm if its really morning because the average Nigerian could be highly deceitful. That is why the INFORMATION MINISTER DORA AKUNYILI DID NOT BLINK AN EYELID WHEN SHE LOOKED STRAIGHT INTO THE EYES OF NIGERIANS TO TELL THEM THAT THE GOVERNMENT HAS ACCEDED TO ASUU's DEMANDS EVEN WHEN SHE KNEW THAT IT WAS A LIE, YET SHE WOULD WANT FOREIGNERS TO BELIEVE THAT THE REBRANDING PROJECT IS NOT ANOTHER LIE. One would however be forced to ask why?Afterall Nigerians are the most religious people in the world and religious people are supposed to be morally upright. AA report has it that with any metre you walk, be sure to meet a church or mosques. In these places of worship, you would see Imams and Pastors preaching without ceasing about humility and moral purity but ask how many of them are humble. A pastor or Imam preaches about humility, but stillgoes around town in a convoy of flashy cars, siren blaring with with routine of bodyguards and you might be forced to ask, where is the humility? What about the average man in the congregration who hears the teachings of God week in week out and when in church, assumes the posture of a saint and a man who would never hurt a fly. Let him leave the church , you might be forced to wonder if this is man whom you saw in the church looking so pious. The above illustration is just an example of what obtains in Nigeria. This is one of the reasons why Nigeria has been a failure in every sphere of life, with other African countries catching up and leaving Nigeria behind in the race for success. Have you ever stopped to ask yourselves why less religious countries like USA, ENGLAND and even even idol worshipping INdia are far more successful than Nigeria? At least, one might be forced to assume that God should love Nigeria more because Nigerians worship him more. But i have bad news for you, God cannot be decieved as he knows that inside the heart of hearts of that Nigerian who goes to Jumat every Friday never misses a single day in the month of Ramadan observed his Salat without ceasing and who goes to ASALATU every sunday, is the heart of a wicked, selfish and pretentious man who cares only about himself and cares less about his neighbour. That is why i am always wary of those FELLOWSHIP boys and girls who believe that they are above board and can do know wrong.Knowing what these people do in their closet would shock you. That is why God cannot prefer the average Nigerian to the American who doesnt pretend that he is more morally upright than his counterpart but who cares for his neighbours. The leader of the Boko Haram Sect, MOHAMMED YUSUF encourages his members to shun anything western as he says that they are evil, but yet, he cruises about town in a 2009 JEEP, his house is filled the the most recent Gadgets from the USA but yet would not allow his members to use them, or is it about a popular Pastor who asks his members not to watch TELEVISION but has a Television in hos own house. These amongst other examples show the nature of Nigerians or what about those SOUTH SOUTH LAWMAKERS WHO PROMISED TO GO ON HUNGER STRIKE FOR TWO WEEKS BECAUSE OF THEIR PEOPLE BUT YET 2 WEEKS ON, THEY DONT LOOK LIKE SOMEONE WHO HAS GONE HUNGRY FOR 2 WEEKS AS THEY LOOK ROBUST AND WELL FED. THE average Nigerian loves to play to the gallery so that he can be seen as a super hero or why do you think OSHIOMOLE was doing all his show boating when he was NLC leader? That was because he wanted to contest for Edo State Governor! My conclusion? The more we continue to pretend and feign Godliness, the more we would go backward as no country can thrive on falsehood. DECIEVERS AN DECIEVEES

That the industrial action embarked upon by the ACADEMIC STAFF UNION OF UNIVERSITIES almost two months ago still thrives is heartbreakingly disheartening. It is even more heartbreaking that the 'GENUINE' attempts by the Federal Govrnment to solve this imbroglio is truthfully ingenuine, wicked, deceitful, callous, and animalistic.Even more embarrassing is the way the Federal government has been going about the whole thing. They are not bothered but come, why should they? Their children do not attend this abhrrations that we call Universities here.Instead, they attend IVY LEAGUE Universities abroad and are tutored by well motivated Lecturers unlike the Hungry lecturers here. Their children are lecturerd by teachers who earn so much that they earn higher than political office holders, unlike what obtains here, where EDUCATED ILLETRATE COUNCILLORS earn higher than university Professors. Why then should you think that our leaders are worried about our plight? Have you forgotten that while this strike was still going on, The MINISTER FOR EDUCATION SAM EGWU held a 250 MILLION naira party to mark his 25th wedding anniversary and also to mark his birthday. In ideal climes, he should have resigned but like the average Nigerian, he would never resign even in the face of glaring failure. ASUU have been losing their public sympathy of late because of the way the Federal Government has been blackmailing them as been greedy, selfishly self-serving people who do not have the Interest of the Nigerian students at heart. Perusing closely at ASUU"S demands, money is the least to them. Remember that the Federal Government recently increased their salary by 40 percent which they rejected. To them, it goes beyond money. What they are asking for is that our Universities should be upgraded from its PARIARICH of status being GLORIFIED SECONDARY SCHOOLS to standard world class Schools or even if semi-worldclass. Remember that a sub standard University can only bring about a sub standard graduate who doesnt know his onions and cannot hold his own among his peers anywhere in the world. More worrying is the fact that the President of this country UMAR MUSA YARDUA as well as his Vice GOODLUCK JONATHAN were University lecturers who cannot feign ignorance about the problems that ASUU have been talking about. This is just to show us that the Government only pays lip service to educaton and the much talked about 7point agenda where THE PRESIDENT HAS A CARRY OVER IN ALL HIS COURSES. Back to the issue at stake, there seems not to be a headway in this QUAGMRIEIC GRIDLOCK. ASUU do not want to cpmprose its stance while the Federal Government does not care or if the President really cares, why would he travel to Brazil on a Jamboree when his house is on fire. It is very clear that the DECIEVERS are unconcerned about the plight of we , the DECIEVEES. That is why peole like myself are still in school when actually i should be out of school by now. That is why we(STUDENTS) might have problems if we want to go for MASTERS abroad. You ask me why? they would look at your certificate and wonder loudly why you should do a 5 years course for 8 years. they would never understand that the deceivers are the cause of this epileptic Education system. My parting word? The University system is very frail at the moment and the current impasse might only make the university fall into a state of coma, which might make it difficult to revive . A stich in time saves nine. And as for us, the decievees, let us pray that God touches the Hearts of the decievers.

TIMAYA'S ENCOMIUM GOOF.

Anybody who is conversant with Timaya, a nigerian musician's style of music would readily agree with me that this guy has got no real stuff if you know what i mean. His is a style of music that defies any real definition of style as he just sings without any real inspiration;  except perhaps that of marijuana which he sings about. Style as  i know is objective just as every human being has the freedom to definr his or her style. Timaya's style like that of a bad musician is highly predictable. All he sing about are HIS ENEMIES, DEM MAMA, OLOFOFO, NA ME BE EGBERI ONE OF BAYELSA bla bla bla.   I am not here however talk about his rather braggadocios style of music which has prompted pundits to label him   a' weather ' musician that would just come and fade away.    timaya has been branded as arrogant so many times which i refused to believe until recently when he granted an interview to a Nigerian softsell ENCOMIUM.  He was asked about his rumoured relationship with actress BIS IBIDAPO OBE and he said ' NO, I AM NOT DATING HER, HOW CAN I DATE HER? AN ORDINARY YORUBA ACTRESS '.  That was just enough confirmation of his arrogance.   He seems to have forgotten that the statement was a careless one capable of heating up the polity in Nigeria where issues regarding religion and ethnicity are held as fragile due to people's sensitivity.  Timaya seems to have forgotten that one cannot be a star forever as there actually is not difference between masses and the so called celebrities. He should also try to add some sensibilty to his music if he wants to last on the scene because he should remember that vulgarity never lasts, sensibility does. Perhaps, he should ask Ebenezer obey, KSA and so on why their songs remain ever green even years after they had released them. timaya should take a clue from these gus or else, he would just fade away like a candle in the wind.

Nigerian leaders; myopic?

It is no longer news that an unexamined mind is not worth living while i will say that an uneducated mind is an empty mind. So, in lieu of this, one would expect a sensitive, sensible and action oriented government to invest heavily in education since that is the way by which the future of the future generation and indeed the country can be set on the right path. it is on this note that the United Nations advised countries to dedicate some sizeable chunk of their budjt to education. Howecver , Nigeria is a defaulter here as the GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS has mentioned Nigeria as the country that allocates the lowest amount to education in the world. The industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU)has passed a month now, yet, the government is not in the least concerned, or let me say pretends to be concerned by the plight of the Lecturers in our ivory towers. The  government is unconcerned about ASUU and the students because they do not know where the shoe pinches. Their children do not attend the GLORIFIED SECONDARY SCHOOLS CALLED UNIVERSITIES.their children attend ivy league school, sponsored with stolen money;tax payers money.    The health sector is no exception. Doctors are threatening to go on strike and all they are asking for from government is for government to upgrade Hospitals from DEATH FASTENING CENTRES to LIFE SAVING CENTRES. No wonder the ruling class and thier family travel abroad just to treat  Headache. What am i saying? the Nigerian ruling class are a heartless set of people who are only pretend to love the masses by thier words but who in action do not. They want we the poor to die in numbers so that the world can be for them only.   Anyway, i only pray that this strike is called off because i am growing old and my mates are getting married. if not , i would enrol in a private Universities belonging to one of my oppressors. yes, they are spoiling the public education sector so that we can run to their own private institutions. ROBBING PETER TO PAY PAUL U WOULD SAY!!!
